Where is Your Data?

Answer: Everywhere!!

You have data in many different IT systems, probably quite a bit in Excel spreadsheets on various laptops, some in On-Premise systems (inside your organisation on your own porivate network) and some in the Cloud (outside your organisation on an external network).

As the need for information grows and more and more businesses are striving to create central reporting repositiories to enable up to date and on demand information services the challenge of bringing data together from differnt sources and locations grows more challenging.

Data Analytics

Data Analytics is one of the latest buzz words – client applications allowing us to build reports, charts, dashboards on any of our business data or systems.

Many of the product offerings in this area enable us to import data directly from a wide variety of sources. Take a look at these import options available in Microsoft’s Power BI tool:
