• All BI solutions will require a reporting and dashboard platform such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power Apps and Power BI

• Before reports and dashboards can be created data must be turned into useful and meaningful business entities with business hierarchies and business logic and calculations built into a central semantic model using platforms such as SQL server Analysis Services (SSAS) or Azure SSAS.
